Can’t Keep My Hands Off You
This guitar is fabulous…period. I forgot how much I love the HSS (Humbucker-Single-Single) configuration. I’ve never been able to gel with a bridge single coil so the HSS makes the most sense to me. I like the gain level of a neck humbucker but just never was a fan of the lack of clarity (In the ones I’ve had at least).
A Neck Like No Other
The neck profile is what they call an Even C slim. It took me a while to wrap my head around the Suhr line and different necks but this one is very close to what would be the perfect shape for me. It’s not as wide (front to back) as I have been used to playing but I am quickly getting used to it.
If you want to know more about this particular model you can go here. This model has since been replaced by the Standard Plus, which has a roasted neck, choice between ¸Maple or Pau Ferro fretboard, and the single coils have been replaced with the V60LP’s, a departure from the ML pickups.
I do plan on doing a more in depth video down the road, so stayed tuned.
I tweaked my main patch so you can download the new one here. Here is the patch:
Remember that the cab will make a huge difference. This cab is from the ML-Frmn-Freedom cab from the ML Sound lab Freeman pack.
